I had seen the phrase written on a dressing room wall in Atlanta and suggested it to 'Fredna' that we write it as a punk song. 45 minutes later, Edna was born. The tune was performed on a 29 dollar Casio keyboard and originally recorded on a 4 trk Fostex cassette machine. The poster who corrected the lyric was dead on, good job! Though none of our follow up hits had quite the impact, we recorded for a few years afterwards as Strapped and still remain friends. I have 2 copies of Edna on vinyl, just sent 2 to Sweden.
